Mt Buller is Australia’s closest snow resort to an international airport, at approximately three hours’ drive from Melbourne airport.

Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly. Coach transfers are available from Melbourne Airport to Mt Buller. Alpine Retreat Mt Buller offer return private transfers for approximately A$1,040 for four people.

Important: Please note check-in and check-out is not available on Saturdays.

: Vehicle access is restricted into the Mt Buller alpine village during the winter and no parking is available at the Alpine Retreat Mt Buller. Overnight guests must pay the Alpine National Park resort entry fee, park their cars in the car parks and take a taxi to and from their accommodation. The costs of arriving and parking at Mt Buller are not included in the cost of any booking with Alpine Retreat Mt Buller through this package or otherwise and must be covered by the purchaser. For full details and to pre-book, please visit the ‘Getting Here’ section of the Mt Buller website.

These packages are for accommodation only. Flights, transport, resort entry, parking and taxis are not included and need to be purchased separately from Mt Buller Resort.

Cancellation policy

Surcharge: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night, applies for certain dates and is payable at time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar.

‘7-Day Change of Mind Guarantee’: Bookings (except for Tour bookings) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 21 days prior to the check-in date.

Complimentary Ski or Snowboard Hire: Hire includes skis, ski boots, and poles or snowboard and boots only. Please note, complimentary ski or snowboard hire is not transferable.

Minimum one adult (aged over 18 years) is required per room.

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is four people and one baby. See the ‘Baby Policy’ below:

Baby Policy: One baby aged two years and under may stay free of charge and will count towards the maximum room capacity. A cot can be provided by the hotel free of charge, subject to availability.

Alpine Family Room – packages are valid for four people and one child

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is five people (maximum of four adults) and one baby. See the ‘Baby Policy’ below:
