The Coomera Houseboat launch site is located just behind Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, approximately a 40-minute drive from Gold Coast Airport (OOL). The cruising area stretches from the bottom of Macleay Island in the north to the northern end of Wavebreak Island in the south. Airport transfers are not included, please plan accordingly.

Located just behind Dreamworld in the Gold Coast, these houseboats invite you to anchor wherever you wish within the designated cruising grounds (with hundreds of spots to choose from), then step onto land to spend the day splashing along the beachfront, tackling picturesque bushwalking trails or chasing fun at one the Gold Coast’s famed theme parks.
Fishing enthusiasts will love trying to catch the myriad of fish and crab varieties that inhabit the waterways – with plenty of opportunities to catch a bite for dinner, or a catch and release just for fun off the rear of the boat, and all vessels come with crab pots for you to cook up a feast. Another unmissable spot to visit during your stay is Stradbroke Island. One of 360 islands within Moreton Bay, it offers access to stunning sand dunes, as well as unique flora and fauna. Drop anchor off the island and use your included dinghy to get to shore and soak up jaw-dropping views or even watch the sunset from the beach. Enjoy a light lunch at Tipplers Licensed Café or tumble down the dunes at Slipping Sands.
Away from the thrills, the serene waters are the ideal place to rest and recharge. All you need to do is choose your vessel and away you go. From Wave Break Island to Macleay Island, you can cruise a serene 50-kilometre stretch in your choice of Shenanigans, Blue Sky Spa, Aegean 60 Spa or The Prestige Spa. Each houseboat offers a slightly different layout but equally incredible onboard facilities, including a fully equipped kitchen, rooftop deck (perfect for stargazing), four staterooms and two bathrooms. With the freedom to cater for your water-based adventure and supply your own food and drinks, you can choose to whip up a feast of locally-sourced delights every night and stock up on provisions before you depart, or even step away from your floating home to spend a night on the Gold Coast and hit the town to see why Surfers Paradise is a haven for travellers from near and far.

- Fuel Surcharge: A fuel charge applies per motoring hour: Shenanigans A$40/per motoring hour; Blue Sky Spa/Aegean 60 Spa – A$55/motoring hour; The Prestige Spa – A$65/per motoring hour. Payable directly to Coomera Houseboats at the conclusion of your voyage.
- Generator Surcharge: A generator set surcharge of A$8 per motoring hour on all vessels applies, and will apply for a minimum of eight hours a day. Payable directly to Coomera Houseboats at the conclusion of your voyage.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for Tour bookings and flights) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.
Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for Scoopon credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your Scoopon credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Please note this does not apply to flights booked with Scoopon. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).
