Feast your eyes on this sumptuous Japanese feast at The Rocks Teppanyaki by the iconic Kobe Jones, offering a stunning location, decadent atmosphere, and a dining experience like no other. Master Teppanyaki Chef Yumi Maeyama has created a menu that epitomises the height of winter indulgence, that will have you savouring an extravagant banquet including slow-cooked Wagyu beef, prawns and Atlantic salmon, Hokkaido scallops, and even juicy lobster tail if you choose to upgrade!

Set Menu

  • Flaming No 1 Special - crab salad with avocado wrapped in Hiramasa kingfish and flamed on the teppan with our secret sauce
  • Wagyu Shi Chu - traditional Japanese style goujons of wagyu beef, slow cooked with celery and carrots in soy sauce, mirin, red wine and tomato, served with sweet cream
  • Twice Cooked Parmesan Motoyaki - Hokkaido scallop seared on the teppan, then back in the shell and flamed with parmesan motoyaki sauce
  • Prawn and Salmon with Yuzu Butter - Spencer Gulf U6 Prawn with Huon Altalntic salmon seared on the teppan, with yuzu butter and a dash of white wine
  • Kobe’s Miso Soup - freshly made dashi with a blend of red and white miso
  • Baby Lobster Tail (UPGRADE ONLY) - baby lobster tail, steamed and broiled in white wine and garlic butter, with spinach and asparagus
  • Master Kobe Wagyu Roll - razor thin slices of Master Kobe Pure Blood wagyu AA9+, teppan seared and rolled with asparagus, carrot and spinach, finished with butter, soy and brandy
  • Garlic Rice - teppan tossed Akitakomachi rice with seaweed butter, garlic and soy
  • Banana Crêpe - banana seared on the Teppan and wrapped in a Sapporo beer crêpe, flambéed with brandy and drizzled in orange and chocolate sauce, glazed, and served with French vanilla gelato

The Rocks Teppanyaki

Not only is teppanyaki a glimpse into traditional Japanese cuisine, dining at The Rocks Teppanyaki also means stepping into a piece of Sydney history. Set in a heritage-listed building originally built in the 1880s, each of the five private rooms has its own personal chef and staff.

Please note dishes may be served concurrently to be shared. Valid for the number of people listed on the voucher and cannot be split or shared. Maximum voucher booking is for six people - bookings for over six people must be booked through the restaurant and are subject to availability. Whole table/booking/group must have a voucher, and all must be on the same voucher; vouchers cannot be mixed. Those without a voucher must pay full price, payable directly to The Rocks Teppanyaki.
