How do I purchase a Scoopon Holiday?
It’s really easy to purchase with Scoopon. You just need to click on either "Check Availability" or "Buy Now, Book Later" in each offer page either on your desktop, mobile website or on the Scoopon iOS or Android app! If you choose " Check Availability ", you just need to choose what option you would like, how many packages you want to buy and then click SELECT. You then select your check-in date (remember, most check-in times are from 2.00pm) and how many adults and children will be travelling. Then just click on CONFIRM, and you will be taken directly to the checkout page. Please note, if you are booking more than one package, you will be asked to select the dates of each package. The dates can all be the same, or you can book different travel dates if you prefer. If you choose "Buy Now, Book Later", you can purchase a package straight through at checkout. After you’ve purchased, you can go to "My Account" and select your dates at any time within the booking window.
How do I report something wrong when I check in?
Speak to Hotel Management in the first instance, to see if there’s anything they can resolve or assist with.
What do I need to show when checking in at the hotel?
• Photo identification of the guest(s) the reservation is under. • Booking Confirmation (although this is simply a backup, not necessary, as the hotel/resort should already have this information).
What do I need to show when meeting the tour operator?
You will not need to present any physical documentation as proof of purchase as your passport identifies you as the traveller. You will however need to ensure you have comprehensive travel insurance in order to participate on the tour, so a copy of your insurance certificate will need to be presented to your leader at your tour briefing on Day 1.
I’ve booked my travel dates - am I able to change them?
For hotel bookings, you can make one change to the date of your booking as long as it is no less than 45 days before your original booking date and provided also that you choose dates which are of an equal value and are available on the Website. The change of Booking Date option does not apply to all packages and does not apply to any Tour or Cruise bookings. In order to check whether your package is eligible for a Change of Date, to check alternate dates and to change your booking you will need to follow these steps: Log into My Holidays on the Website and click CHANGE DATES NOW (if available for your booking) Select your new dates (which must be available and of equal value) Click “Confirm Dates” to confirm your change of date You will then be sent a revised booking confirmation We’re more than happy to assist where we can, so please contact the Scoopon Travel support team on 1300 72 66 76 who can look into this for you. For tours or flights, please contact Scoopon Holidays directly by filling in the submission form and we will do our best to assist if possible.
Where can I view details and inclusions of the package I've purchased?
You can see all your inclusions by going to your "My Account" page and clicking on the image of the package you purchased. This will then transfer you to the offer page itself.
What/Where is my booking ID?
The booking ID is printed on your purchase confirmation email. It is your unique reference number for the package in which you have purchased and ensures that our partners can verify that your package is valid and provide you with the service advertised. In order to retrieve your booking confirmation – after logging in, towards the top of the page you will see a menu bar which says "My Account". If you hover over that, an option will appear which says "My Holidays". All the packages that you have purchased from us should appear. You will see a button saying "Re-send booking confirmation Email". Note: your confirmation email is sent to the same email address you registered with, be sure to check your junk mail folder if you can't locate it!
I would like to unsubscribe from receiving your emails
If you would like to unsubscribe from receiving emails from to in future, please go to "My Account" and then click on "My Subscriptions". On that page you can choose which emails you want or you can unsubscribe from all our emails in just a few very quick clicks.
Can I make a booking if the package I've purchased has expired?
Booking and package redemption is at the discretion of our partners. Redemption after expiry is purely at the discretion of the business, and unfortunately, in most cases, redemption is not permitted after the validity period has ended. However, the best idea is to get in touch with the hotel directly and request a late redemption of your package.
I've forgotten my password, what can I do?
If your password doesn’t work, you can get a new one by clicking on the "Forgot Password" link above the password box. You should get an automated email sent to you – if that doesn’t work, it probably means your email account may be blocking our emails! The first thing to do is to check your junk mail box. If there is an email from us, please add us as a safe sender. If you can’t find an email from us, just send us a quick email to firstname.lastname@example.org and our team will be able to help out and create a new password for you right away.
I bought a package from Scoopon Holidays – What do I do now?
If you selected your travel dates via the "Instant Booking" purchase option, you will receive an email confirmation with your travel dates. There is nothing more for you to do (although it’s always a good idea to take a printed copy of your confirmation when you check-in). If you selected the "Buy Now, Book Later" option, you can select your travel dates at any time, within the booking window, by selecting the package bought in "My Account" section of the Scoopon site. Dates are subject to availability and allocations are limited, so please select your dates as soon as possible after purchase. For some packages, after a period of time (around 30 days after purchase), for "Buy Now, Book Later" purchases, choosing your dates will be ‘on request’, and the hotel will confirm your check-in within 2-3 days.
I've purchased a package, and now I'm unable to travel
Scoopon Holidays provides a 7-day no questions asked booking guarantee. Outside of this, our packages are non-refundable. In the event that you are unable to travel on your selected dates, we would hope that your travel insurance will be able to provide assistance. We are able to provide you with a letter of cancellation to assist in this process. Should Travel insurance not be applicable you may be able to look at amending your reservation date (FAQ #2). Can I use Scoopon Holidays credits to purchase Scoopon deals other than holidays and tours?
No – any credits you have received for a Scoopon Holiday can only be used for a Scoopon Hotel, Resort or Tour.
